PROCESS TO PREPARE:
- Wash the potato and peel off the skin.
- Take a grater and grate the potato one by one.
- Now wash the grated potato thoroughly for 6 to 7 times so that the starch drains out from the potato.
- Then take a dry cloth or tissue paper and spread the grated potato on it.
- Leave it to dry for 5 minutes.
- Now take a deep frying pan and add oil to it.
- As soon as oil is heated, sim the gas burner.
- Start frying the grated potato in small quantity till it changes it's colour to golden brown.
- Do not add salt while frying.
- After the potato colour changes to golden brown, take them out and keep it on the tissue paper so that excess oil is soaked.
- Now add salt according to your taste and your bengali crispy potato fry is ready to serve.
