Bengali Crispy Potato Fry





INGREDIENTS:

‏Potato
2
Oil
As per requirement to deep fry
‏Salt
As Per Taste

PROCESS TO PREPARE:

  •  Wash the potato and peel off the skin.
  •   Take a grater and grate the potato one by one.
  •  Now wash the grated potato thoroughly for 6 to 7 times so that the starch drains out from the potato.
  • Then take a dry cloth or tissue paper and spread the grated potato on it.
  • Leave it to dry for 5 minutes.
  • Now take a deep frying pan and add oil to it.
  • As soon as oil is heated, sim the gas burner.
  • Start frying the grated potato in small quantity till it changes it's colour to golden brown.
  • Do not add salt while frying.
  • After the potato colour changes to golden brown, take them out and keep it on the tissue paper so that excess oil is soaked.
  • Now add salt according to your taste and your bengali crispy potato fry is ready to serve.
