Aloo Capsicum Sabzi




INGREDIENTS:

‏Potato
2
Capsicum
1
Onion
3 medium size
Tomato
1 big size
Cumin seed
1 tea spoon
Dhaniya(coriander) powder
1 tea spoon
Haldi(turmeric) powder
1/3 tea spoon
Red chili powder
1/2 tea spoon
Hing
1/4 tea spoon
Ginger garlic paste
1 tea spoon
Salt
As per taste

Oil
4 table spoon
 
PROCESS TO PREPARE

  • Cut the potato and capsicum in square pieces.
  •  Cut 2 onions and tomato in small pieces.
  •  Cut the remaining onion in square pieces like capsicum.
  •  In a frying pan add oil.Once it becomes hot add cumin seeds in it.
  •  As soon as cumin seeds starts crackling add onions(which are chopped in small pieces). Fry them till its becomes soft.
  •  Now add the potato and fry them till it is half cooked.
  •  Then add ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, red chili powder and hing. Saute them in a low flame.
  •  Now add chopped tomato and saute for a while. Then add salt in it and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the capsicum and cook it for 1-2 minutes.
  • Finally add the onions and gently stir it. Cover the pan with lid and cook till capsicum and onion is soften a little.
  • Your Aloo capsicum Sabzi is ready to serve.

Kumro Aalu Torkari






INGREDIENTS:

‏Raw Pumpkin
250 gm
Potato
1
Green chilli
1
Coconut
5 to 6 slices
Panch phoran
1 tea spoon
Bay leaf
1
Mustard oil
3 table spoon
Dhaniya(coriander) powder
1/2 tea spoon
Jeera(Cumin) powder
1/2 tea spoon
Haldi(termeric) powder
1/3 tea spoon
‏Sugar
1 tea spoon
Salt
As per taste
  

PROCESS TO PREPARE:

  • Wash the Raw pumpkin, potato and coconut slices then cut them in square pieces.


  • Take a pan, add 3 table spoon of mustard oil and heat it.Now add 1 bay leaf and panch phoran in it.
  • As soon as you get the crackling sound of panch phoran add potato and fry until it becomes golden brown.  
     
  • Add the raw pumpkins in it and fry for few minutes.


     
  • Now add dhaniya(coriander) powder,jeera(cumin) powder, haldi(termeric) powder, salt, coconut pieces and green chilli and mix it well. Put a lid on and cook on low heat till the pumpkin and potatoes are done.
