Gajar Ka Halwa




INGREDIENTS :

Ghee
3 tea spoon
Cardamom Powder
1/2 tea spoon
Cashew Nuts
10-12
Almonds
10-12
Sugar
1and 1/2 cup
Full Cream Milk
500 ml
Grated Carrot
1 bowl


PROCESS TO PREPARE:


  • Wash the fresh raw carrots properly then peel them.
  • Grate them and keep it in a bowl.
  • Dry roast the Cashew nuts and almonds slightly. Then chop them after it cools down and keep them aside.
  • Take a deep pan, add the grated carrot in it and stir fry continuously till all the water evaporated as well as the carrot becomes soft.
  • Add full cream milk in it and cook it in a medium flame.
  • Keep on stirring the mixture at regular intervals. The grated carrot will cook in milk.
  • While it is cooking add sugar into it and keep on stirring.
  • When the milk is completely evaporated, add ghee.
  • Saute the gajar halwa well in ghee until the moisture evaporates completely.
  •  Now sprinkle cardamom powder and mix it well.
  •  Finally garnish your Gajar ka halwa with the rosted dry fruits. Server it warm or chilled.
